JOB DESCRIPTION
- Porter
The Lobby Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned. This person must have the ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate to guests preferred. Lobby Porters are responsible for the general cleanliness of hotel public areas (lobby, restrooms, pool/gym, hallways) and for delivering requested amenities to guest rooms. This position is also responsible for completing special projects as assigned. - Housekeeping
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning suites according to property-specific and System Standards, responding promptly to requests from guests and other departments, filling cart with supplies and transporting carts to assigned areas, entering guest rooms following procedures for gaining access, and ensuring vacancies before entering, replacing guest amenities and supplies in rooms, replacing dirty linens and terry with clean items, making beds and fold terry, cleaning bathrooms, removing trash, dirty linen, and room service items, checking that all appliances are present in the room and working order, straightening desk items, furniture, and appliances, dusting, polishing, and removing marks from walls and furnishings, vacuuming carpets and perform floor care duties, reporting maintenance problems to the appropriate person, adhering to appearance, attendance, and punctuality expectations and standards as communicated, performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
