JOB DESCRIPTION
- Kitchen Help
This position you will have the opportunity to master and work in multiple positions:
– Pizza Cook: you will prepare high-quality pizza ingredients such as dough, sauces, and toppings
like pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes. Cook pizzas to satisfy our customers’ expectation. Monitor inventory and communicate with a supervisor when stocks and supplies are running low.
– Pizza Maker: you will prepare pizzas out of our menu and based on custom orders. Bake a wide variety of pizza doughs, including thin crust, thick crust, and cheese-stuffed. Wash and chop vegetables (for example, tomatoes, peppers, onions, and mushrooms) Cut, slice, and grill meats like chicken, ham, and beef. Monitor food stock and place orders, as needed. Use less traditional ingredients to appeal to a larger audience (for example, vegan cheese and gluten-free flour) Cook appetizers, like mozzarella sticks, pizza bites, garlic breads, and salads. Recommend new recipes to update our menus. Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment
– Line Cook: your primary goal will be to prepare high-quality meals. To be successful in this role,
the ideal participant will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you
will play an essential role in contributing to our customers’ satisfaction. Some of your key duties and
responsibilities include: Strive to exceed expectations and deliver customer-first service through timely and quality service. Quickly and accurately prepare food products following restaurant, health, and safety
standards. Properly and safely operate and maintain restaurant equipment including grill, fryer, freezer,
and other cooking equipment. Complete assigned preparation work for stocking and setting up grill area.
– Prep Cook: you are responsible for the preparation of cooking ingredients according to recipes
and specifications that will be utilized by the Line cooks. These individuals will follow prep lists,
which could include basic kitchen tasks such as: measuring ingredients to be used in recipes,
washing, and chopping produce, mixing sauces, parboiling food, and ensuring the quality of
cooked/prepared food by testing them.
