JOB DESCRIPTION
- Resort worker
The Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas J-1 Resort Worker may fulfill a variety
of duties as set forth below:
• Housekeeper – Responsible for cleaning lodge rooms following guest
departures. May also clean common areas, including offices, lobbies and
restrooms
• Boat Cleaner/Custodial Services Worker – Responsible for cleaning
houseboats following guest departures. May also clean common areas, such
as offices, lobbies, and restrooms
• Food Prep Worker – Responsible for readying food items for restaurant. May
involve washing, peeling, cutting, and arranging food items
• General Utility Worker/Dishwasher – Responsible for washing dishes, cutlery,
pots, pans, etc., Also responsible for kitchen cleanliness
• May be asked to also clean public areas, restock supplies in laundry rooms
• All positions may require restroom cleaning as part of job duties
• Other jobs as assigned by management
• Lake Powell North is beautiful but very remote, in proximity to Glen Canyon
and Canyonlands National Parks. This location is for nature lovers, however,
please do not expect a nightlife, big shopping, or big city atmosphere
• Cell phone usage while working is not allowed!
• Students should be flexible and should be prepared to work in a variety of
positions. However, upon arrival the employer will assign you to a certain
position/role and no changes will be permitted thereafter
