Sun Valley Resort is America’s first destination resort, built in 1936 by the Union Pacific Railroad. It is located in the Northern Rockies region of south-central Idaho and is open year-round with four distinctly beautiful seasons. There are more outdoor recreational activities here than at any other destination resort in the U.S.
Sun Valley Resort is seeking Culinary and Food & Beverage candidates to rotate through their 18 Food and Beverage outlet kitchens and dining rooms.
Culinary Kitchen Rotation
Pay Rate: $14
Culinary participants will experience rotational training throughout the hotel’s culinary department.
Food and Beverage Rotation
Pay Rate: $8 + Tips
Food and Beverage participants will rotate through a variety of the 18 F&B outlets on property
The perfect candidate:
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong English skills
- Enrolled in a hospitality/culinary program or recently graduated, no prior experience required.
- No prior experience required
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced work environment while meeting deadlines.

- This is a 12-month program position
